I had a splendid weekend with the family. Lynns house still needs considerable work to rectify the shoddy job the previous builder did but it is starting to take shape at least.
We did an enormous amount of high-volume, high-camp singing for some reason, show tunes in the main. I also took it upon myself to wear a range of inappropriate hats belonging to my nephews and niece. On reflection it was a kind of National Youth Theatre style, dressing up and performing weekend for the O’Malleys.
The kids took to my marvellous new game “Uncle Kevin’s Big Lie In”. For each hour I got to sleep after 8am they got a quid. It cost me £4 on saturday but it was worth it.
