After months of hard work (none of it by me) Bristol has been shortlisted in the Digital Challenge. The Digital Challenge is a competition, funded by central Government, to develop and realise the vision of an innovative digitally enabled society.

Steve Hilton, who put in a tremendous amount of effort and energy to the Bristol Bid, has already established himself as a respected innovator and assiduous risk taker. Now Bristol has the opportunity to be seen as the city that leads the way with the creative, sensitive and practical use of technology to address social issues and inequality.

Well done to all involved in the Connecting Bristol bid.
